Welcome to ZONTA

Dear Zontians,
dear all,

Ute Scholza warm welcome to the multilingual Zonta District 27 where enthusiastic, committed and friendly Zontians from France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Ukraine are working together to improve the status of women!

We are glad to present  the newly designed website of our District. It´s going online now, but this is just the beginning!!!

Step by step we will create this website to offer you an information  platform about Zonta and the Zontians in District 27.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know – we will do our very best.

Dear All!

The Zonta Biennium 2008 – 2010 will be soon over!
For me and I am sure for all of you that are in Zonta office - this were very exciting two years.
I started this Biennium in the comfortable position of Ltd. Governor – and I will end it as a lucky Governor.

And I can really be a lucky Governor, because I met so many wonderful women in these two years, many of you! I have had the honour to take part in many Zonta events. I have had the honour to be the chair of our District Conference in Luxembourg. Whow…

When I remember the Biennium 2008 – 2010, I remember the highlights:

  • the European Seminar with the workshop about LAA, organized by Anna Lukasiak with Frieda Demey and me,
  • the attendance of ZI President-Elect Dianne Curtis at our District Conference in Luxembourg
  • the well organized multicultural District Conference in the Abbaye of Neumünster in Luxembourg
  • the Charter Celebrations in Lier, Leer and De Haan-Middenkust, where I could welcome young, encouraged and dynamic Zontians in our coloured Zonta world,
  • various Area Meetings,
  • inspiring, unforgettable Meetings of the District Board,
  • every single Zonta event in our clubs
  • and the personal friendship among Zontians in our District and worldwide.

That is our coloured Zonta world - it is beautiful!!

Dear Zontians, at the end of this Biennium I want to thank each of you for your personal engagement in Zonta – for your Zonta activities, that made this Biennium to a very special one and for all what you did to improve the status of women!

And I want to thank you for your creativity, for your open mind, for your support that you gave to the District Board and to me as Governor personally.

I also thank you for the patience that you have had with me, with the Board, that we met each other with empathy and care - that is important that our volunteer Zonta work makes fun and when it makes fun - it will be sucessful!

And my Dears –

Be sure: we can really be proud being a Zontian – it is an honour and a privilege –

keep on telling this everyone!
