Area 03 Meeting, 18th - 20th September, in Hamburg and Quickborn

First Zonta Area 27/3 Meeting of this biennium

Almost 60 Zontians from Area 03 followed Area Director Ute Watermeyer's invitation to Hamburg.

On Friday evening, thanks to Wiebke Baars, we were guests of our sponsor Taylor Wessing. Heartfelt thanks for the warm hospitality!

On Saturday, thanks to Sonja Matthiessen, we spent the day as guests at the Metaplan Campus in Quickborn. There and in Hamburg, we held workshops on advocacy, membership and democracy, along with lots of lively exchange.

A vibrant marketplace of topics and projects gave everyone the opportunity to exchange views at the Metaplan boards, to share experiences, and to gather new ideas.

In the evening, we celebrated together in beautiful surroundings in Hamburg. The evening was organized by Christiane Lemberg of the Zonta Club Hamburg – our warmest thanks!

On Sunday, our new Presidents and Vice Presidents took part in a training session offered by Christine Gerberding - thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!

A huge thank you to our great AD Ute and her board dream team for the wonderful organisation, coordination, and warm welcome that made this first area meeting of the biennium such a success.

We are now connected, inspired, and motivated, and we are looking forward to working together for the benefit of women and girls.
