Eligibility
Any woman pursuing a business program specializing in accounting, economics, finance, business management, business technology, information technology, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship at a recognized university/college/institution is eligible for the Jane M. Klausman Scholarship for Women in Business. Golden Z club members and online students may also apply if enrolled at an accredited university/college/institution. The applicants:
- Must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program at the time the application is submitted
- Must live or study in a Zonta district
- Must demonstrate outstanding potential in the field
- Must submit their application to the local Zonta club
- Must be in school at the time the scholarship funds are disbursed and must not graduate before December
Women who have previously received a Jane M. Klausman Scholarship for Women in Business cannot apply for a renewal of their scholarship. Classified members, employees of Zonta International and Zonta Foundation for Women and their family members, are also not eligible for an application for the Scholarship.
The Jane M. Klausman Scholarship may be used for tuition, books, or living expenses at any university, college, or institution offering accredited business courses and degrees.

Applicants from geographic areas within a Zonta district/region where no clubs are located will be considered eligible for the district/region and international awards.

Funding
Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are made possible through investment income generated by the Klausman bequest and generous contributions from Zontians, Zonta clubs, and friends of Zonta to the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Fund.
