After a long Corona break, the Zonta Club Oldenburg again awarded its Zonta Woman of the Year. Women are honored who have successfully asserted themselves in their profession and who have stood up for their cause. This year, a sociologist known beyond the borders of Oldenburg was honored, Prof. em., Dr., Dr h.c. Rosemarie Nave-Herz. She taught and researched sociology in the area of family, youth and leisure time and advocated equal rights. Even though she no longer teaches, she is active, writes books and continues to campaign for equality as a Soroptimist.
